Today America Scores Seattle will bus 160 third, fourth and fifth graders from 5 Seattle high-need public elementary schools to Seattle Pacific University to tour the campus, train with the SPU soccer teams, and participate in a Q&A with college students.
College Kicks is an annual SCORES event that works to inspire SCORES poet-athletes to dream of higher education, and the experience will show them an educational path they can make their own and work to achieve.
We are very grateful to the Seattle Pacific University Men's and Women's soccer teams for hosting us again this year. Without strong partnerships like these, America SCORES Seattle would not be able to continue to provide our high-quality free program to Seattle's at-risk youth.
