Our spring program kicked off Monday at Maple Elementary. We started strong with a day of soccer in the pouring rain and yesterday moved inside for some writing exercises. The kids wrote and drew their views on makes a hero and what kind of hero they'd be. Answers ranged from an environmental superhero who makes eco-friendly cars, an economic superhero who fixes the problems facing the U.S. economy, and one who provides shelter for the homeless. Our kids continue to inspire the staff at SCORES!
