We are the Maple Monarchs
Like the sounders, we are strong
Like good friends, we get along
We cheer for all the teams
We sure know what respect means
Win or lose, we will have fun
We play hard until the game is done
SCORES is commitment and we play fair
and write about our underwear

Today My Name Is
by: Mahlia E. of Maple Elementary
Today my name is Depressed.
I feel lonely and sad.
I pretend to act emo.
Yesterday my name was Invisible.
I heard a dog biting my hand.
I found a dead bird on the street.
Tomorrow my name will be Joyful.
I will forget about all my depressed moments.
I will still remember about having to brush my teeth.
Animals
by: Vi T. of Maple Elementary
Animals are awesome
Birds can fly in the sky
Cats can be big or small
Deer are cute and quiet
Every animal is cool walking in the grass
Falcons can be scary making sounds in the sky
Get everyone happy because animals are cute
